Description
octadecyl-3-[3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl]propionate]. It is an odorless, highly efficient, sterically hindered phenolic primary antioxidant which provides processing and long-term thermal stabilization. It offers light stability & excellent color retention. It protects the organic substrates against thermo-oxidative degradation. Exhibits low volatility and high resistance to extraction. It can be used in combination with other additives such as costabilizers (thioethers, phosphites, phosphonites), light stabilizers, and other functional stabilizers. 1076 is suitable for polyolefins, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, polybutene-1, styrene homo- & copolymers, engineering plastics and elastomers applications. Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.2% for polymer, 0.1-0.4% for polyolefin and 0.1-0.3% for styrene homo- and copolymers.
